Freddie Mac's OR Team protects corporate assets from significant business interruptions by optimizing risk management and building operational resiliency. The OR Senior Analyst will work with the OR Planning and Testing Team Manager(s) to provide analysis, assessment, advisory, direction, and support to Freddie Mac divisions to improve the firm's preparedness posture. This position performs a myriad of duties that include but are not limited to analyzing, assessing, and reporting on Business Impact Analysis (BIAs), Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), and Business Continuity exercising/testing activities.

Your Impact:

  • Collaborate with divisional and enterprise teams to establish, maintain, and mature program processes and practices to ensure that the program aligns with industry standards and meets regulatory requirements
  • Educate, advise, and support business areas on crafting, developing, conducting, and evaluating BIAs, BCPs, Business Continuity exercises and tests with special emphasis on strategy development and efficiency of resiliency controls where third-party dependencies exist
  • Drive efforts across the organization to validate the effectiveness of business continuity strategies and plans inclusive of third-party risk mitigation activities
  • Find opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of business interruption and other risks caused by business, third party engagement, regulatory, or industry-specific change initiatives
  • Relevant experience operating within a fast-paced, complex organization that requires interacting with and influencing a wide range of business and technology partners

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience working with or within a business continuity, business resiliency, or operational resiliency environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of operational resiliency and implications across the industry
  • Understanding of correlation between planning and exercising/testing activities (e.g., business impact analysis, business continuity plan documentation, and exercising/testing)
  • Understanding of IT environments; experience with linkage between business continuity and disaster recovery is a plus
  • Experience with operational resiliency software tools (e.g., Fusion, Archer) preferred
  • CBCP or ABCP certifications preferred, but not required
