The EHS Manager will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for a region of the NAM field team.

In this role, you'll be heading compliance, health, and safety program development, compliance with applicable federal, state / local requirements This role requires sufficient experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to affect short-term and some long-term business goals and safe solutions for our business and customers we serve.

Daily Functions:
Use influencing skills to ensure a strong EHS culture is valued by commercial, engineering, manufacturing, and field services leadership Identify, develop, and drive process simplification and improvement for the NAM distributed workforce team Conduct customer site visits and provide support to the NAM field services teams Implement, maintain, and audit EHS programs and procedures to ensure company compliance Support customer EHS inquiries and discussions as they are related to the conduct of field activities Manage all aspects of EHS (injury investigation/reduction, training completion, metrics verification/tracking, etc.) for a region Perform data analysis, trending, and reporting of key business-level EHS metrics reports Lead / Assist in special projects as assigned including risk reduction initiatives, Gensuite management, and internal program auditsCollaborate and coach business team members to create a culture where inclusion and diversity are valued
Who we need:
A strong health and safety background is skilled at coaching and communicating EHS requirements to all levels of the organization. We need someone who can partner and influence across functional teams and be able to handle multiple shifting demands with professionalism and good judgment while adapting to dynamic business and industry situations. You must have experience with root cause analysis methods (Apollo, FMEA, Bow-tie, Fishbone, Tap Root, etc.) and have demonstrated EHS risk recognition and auditing skills (project/field work).

Additional Core Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, science or technical fieldMust have 5+ years of demonstrated EHS leadership experience with a health and safety focusRoutine travel required

Transformational leadership experience to coach and guide leaders to have meaningful safety conversationsCommunicating EHS expectations effectively through leveraging of technical and business proficiency with client stakeholders, sub-contractors and internal project team membersRemoving obstacles or guiding the projects, engineering and services team to remove obstacles to ensure work proceeds with a high level of safety standards and awareness.Building a trusting EHS culture where concerns can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on results and problem solving
