The Medical Assistant Adv is responsible for the daily care of patients and supports clinic operations by serving in a lead role for other Medical Assistant staff members in their clinic. This mainly involves working with the clinic supervisor to help train and orient new MA staff. In addition to daily operations, the Medical Assistant Adv also supports process improvements for programs and workflows to enhance the role of the MA/Tech staff to improve clinical outcomes reliant on unlicensed assistive personnel role.

The Medical Assistant Advanced will collaborate with all healthcare team members to ensure high-quality service and excellent outcomes. The MA Advanced will communicate with many healthcare team members and beyond, positively representing UKHC and their specific clinic, following UK HealthCare behavioral expectations for service excellence, and demonstrating our Living DIReCT values.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities?
