Position: Addiction Counseling Intern

Location: New Beginnings - Waverly

Schedule: Monday - Friday morning hours

Compensation: $15.00/hour for full internship

Meridian Behavioral Health LLC is a leading provider of behavioral health care and addiction recovery services in Minnesota. We are currently seeking an Addiction Counseling Intern to join our team at New Beginnings, an outpatient program in Waverly.

  • Gain hands-on experience practicing the 12 core functions of Alcohol and Drug Counseling
  • Work with a full-time LADC to complete activities such as assessment, treatment planning, therapy, and consultation
  • Develop skills necessary for building therapeutic relationships
  • Completion of the internship is required for becoming a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
