Data Center Logistics III

Job Summary

As the Data Center Warehouse Specialist III, you are comfortable communicating with customers, partners, and other departments to provide customer service and resolve issues. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining materials and stock.

Responsibilities

  • You are able to update and close shipment orders
  • Receives, distributes, and tracks daily shipments and tracks duration of how long materials are in storage
  • You have attention for detail and will maintain records of materials received and shipped; rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary and notifying appropriate partners
  • You work with customers and other departments to raise and resolve shipping and receiving issues
  • You can maintain appropriate consumable stock levels (e.g. cable connectors, ordering materials at specified minimums)
  • You handle stored and/or abandoned equipment
  • Removes/disposes of all packing material from the data center

Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience
  • High School Graduate
  • You operate material-handling equipment and/or forklifts
  • You perform all essential job functions, including walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, lifting and manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • You can lift heavy items up to 50 pounds; knows proper lifting and handling techniques
