Job Summary

Coordinate and unify procurement business processes, Identify opportunities to simplify, improve and generate new process and/or tools, and lead the change management strategy to have the best adoption for Procurements and end users.

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify operation and business opportunities that need to be defined and documented for procurement processes in the region.
  • Communicate business processes and integrate different support to achieve the goal of standardization.
  • Work along the procurement for all business units to identify opportunities on procurement processes.
  • Deep knowledge of procurement processes to be a single point of help for business operations.
  • Quick project implementation with procurement teams to maximize benefits.
  • Assure process deployment, alignment & changes
  • Bring new technologies and tools for the procurement team
  • Simplify and synthesizes complex or diverse information
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes to propose and develop potential new process improvements within procurement
  • Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers
  • Conduct research and analysis in developing processes that assist procurement
  • Continuous creating, developing and presenting to different groups / stakeholders the results of the projects or proposals

Qualifications
  • Procurement, Negotiations, Warehouse Management
  • Project management
  • Working in / with multifunctional teams
  • Must Bachelor in engineering, Administration, Supply Chain, Business
  • Desire (plus) Master in business administration, other
  • Must knowledge of SAP
  • LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and in MS PowerPoint and presenting virtually preferred
  • Cross functional team facilitation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience using problem solving techniques and business analysis tools critical to continuous improvement processes required, such as LEAN, Shingo, Value Stream Mapping, Conflict Management, Strategic Planning, and SWOT Analysis
  • Experience in organizational survey methods preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to understand, articulate, and advocate for business recommendations

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge in procurement processes: policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Communication skills and change management to deploy changes and follow up the strategy.
  • Process mapping from the big picture and with detailed steps.
  • Knowledge of the production process.
  • Understands the businesses strategy.
  • Understands procurement challenges in all the supply chain.
  • Data analysis.

  • Team player with effective conflict management.
  • Can deal effectively with people who hold opposing views, tolerates conflicts and ambiguity.

Working Conditions
  • Capable of working in an office environment and with working extended hours, when needed
  • Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time

  • Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
