Lowell General Hospital in collaboration with Tufts Medicine's Physician Organization, Department of Psychiatry, is on the lookout for a board-eligible/certified psychiatrist to join the Consultation-Liaison psychiatry service. Embark on this exciting journey with us to cater to the growing demand for psychiatric services.
This dynamic full-time role involves providing inpatient psychiatric consultations for our medical and surgical services at Lowell General Hospital. Although completion of a C-L fellowship is desirable, we welcome candidates who exhibit a keen interest and relevant experience in C-L psychiatry. The appointed C-L psychiatrist will collaborate with the Division Chief of Consultation-Liaison and Psychiatric Emergency Services for Tufts Medicine System to deliver top-notch psychiatry consultations within a multidisciplinary team setting. Responsibilities also include training medical students, residents, and nurse practitioners, with research opportunities available for those with specific interests.
Who you are:
- Graduate of an ACGME-approved psychiatry residency program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Adult psychiatry
- Hold a valid medical license in the State of MA and a DEA certificate
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in C-L psychiatry or relevant experience in the field is highly advantageous
