Inpatient Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist

Lowell General Hospital in partnership with Tufts Medicine’s Physician Organization, Department of Psychiatry are seeking a board-eligible/certified psychiatrist to join the Consultation-Liaison psychiatry service to meet the needs of the expanding psychiatric services. Qualified candidates will be eligible for a faculty position at Tufts University School of Medication at the appropriate academic rank. This full-time position entails inpatient psychiatric consultations for our inpatient medical and surgical services at Lowell General Hospital. While completion of a C-L fellowship is preferred, this position is open to other candidates who have demonstrated interest and experience in C-L psychiatry. The C-L psychiatrist will work with the Division Chief of Consultation-Liaison and Psychiatric Emergency Services for Tufts Medicine System to provide high quality psychiatry consultations in a multidisciplinary team. Additional responsibilities include clinical and didactic training of medical students, adult psychiatry, triple board residents, and nurse practitioners with opportunities for research for those with specific research interests.
