Genesis10 is seeking a Data Engineer for a contract with our client in Minneapolis, MN.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a talented ETL Developer / Cloud Automation Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting business requirements, designing and developing ETL processes, and implementing cloud automation solutions. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, technology teams, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our business and technology strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and analyze complex business requirements to develop high-level and low-level design specifications.Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using tools such as Informatica or AWS Glue.Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy cloud automation solutions for the Finance business unit using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.Ensure adherence to engineering standards and Agile development methodologies.Own the end-to-end development, configuration, unit testing, and deployment of code.Collaborate with business analysts, technology teams, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.Understand and follow change management procedures.Coordinate with support teams to resolve issues efficiently.

Required Basic Qualifications:

  1. 4-7 years of experience in ETL development and cloud automation.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  3. Proficiency in ETL tools (Informatica or AWS Glue) and cloud automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible).
  4. Experience in Agile development methodologies.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay rate $

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
