Job Description Please note this position supports our Weekend Night Shift working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5PM to 5AM. You will work 36 Hours and be paid for 40 Hours plus earn a 15% pay premium.


Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.

This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship.


Applies a variety of standard and experimental finishes to both production and prototype machined parts in conformance with military specifications.

Ensures proper surface masking and preparations, mixing epoxies and solvents to appropriate ratios by weight, volume or viscosity, incorporating a knowledge of scales and weights and how substances interact.

Prepares the surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products by cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking and stenciling.

Selects and mixes finishing materials:
coats and /or touches up product with such materials as paint, acrylic, varnish, enamel, lacquer, and stain using. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control and procedures.

Works from blueprints and process sheets to develop finishing processes, applications and techniques where thickness tolerances are critical.Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma or GED and 2 years work experience.

Full-Time Salary Range:
$ $72490

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:

business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
