The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for:

The Successful Applicant
The successful Product Development Engineer will have MOST of what follows:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) from an ABET (or equivalent) accredited institution.Proven mechanical aptitude, demonstrated either formally or informally.Preferred 3-5 years of related experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient in computer applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Experience with CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor.Preferably experienced in customer-facing roles.Advanced analytical skills preferred, including FEA, CFD, and Simulation.Strong mechanical design experience and knowledge of GD&T preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on technical writing.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, with experience in automotive, electrical, or hydraulics being beneficial.Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills.Effective time management abilities.Interest in both hands-on work and detailed analysis.Ability to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.Demonstrated independent initiative.Ability to work effectively within a team.Open and adaptable to change.
