Stony Brook Medicine is looking for a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Lead Programmer Analyst on our Enterprise Analytics team. In this role, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Enterprise Analytics on a variety of data-related projects within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce clinical and patient reports as requested by the hospital community
  • Optimize existing SQL queries to improve report performance and accuracy
  • Support technical projects by integrating data from various applications
  • Design and implement database models and schemas for data marts, dashboards, and reports
  • Create visualizations and dashboards to support hospital initiatives
  • Document and communicate data analysis results to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations related to database implementation
  • Provide technical support for production systems as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data mining and data reporting
  • Experience with SQL, Crystal Report, and relational databases
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
