Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Intern to join our team to support our sales department in various initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sports, sales, and gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced sports environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the sales team in prospecting and generating leads through various channels, including but not limited to, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.
  • Support the coordination and execution of sales campaigns, promotions, and special events to drive ticket sales and revenue generation.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop compelling sales materials, including sales pitches, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Assist in managing customer databases and CRM systems to track sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance metrics.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to prospective and existing clients, including answering inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in managing ticketing operations, including ticket inventory management, sales reporting, and distribution logistics.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support the overall sales and marketing efforts of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sports, particularly baseball, and a passion for sales and customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas and information effectively.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the position.
  • Must be able to provide own transportation to and from the ballpark and other off-site events.
