Job Description:
This job is responsible for leading a team focused on maintaining and growing the bank's industry-leading market share while serving as an external bank ambassador to the business community within a particular geographic area. Key responsibilities include creating and executing market strategy, developing client manager talent, and attending client meetings with the market leadership team. Job expectations include overseeing overall team performance, championing change, and ensuring the right strategies are implemented to deliver effective solutions for both clients and employees.

Responsibilities:

Manages a team of Relationship Managers and Commercial Associates and enhances team performance through recruiting, coaching, and development activitiesIncreases profitability by driving responsible growth, retention/acquisition, and exceptional service for clients with annual revenues of $50 million to $2 billion across all major industriesOversees team activity and coordinates the pipeline of deals, facilitating hand-offs between members of the client teams, and improving the client management processAllocates resources strategically in the market, including credit products, treasury solutions, and sales support resources, to capitalize on market opportunityPartners with product specialists to ensure all capabilities of the firm are accounted for during client/prospect interactions and develops relationships with cross Line of Business (LOB) leaders, key support partners, and other Market Executives Leads and/or participates in company-wide projects or initiatives, such as Operational Excellence/Simplification (OpEx/SIM) and related hiring strategy initiatives, to achieve desired business outcomesDrives overall team performance around key priorities such as new client acquisition, digital, and Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) by raising awareness through meetings in collaboration with relevant key partners, driving individual accountability and monitoring data/metricsRequired Skills:Undergraduate degree required: Majors in business, finance or economics preferred. years experience in Commercial Lending.Proficiency in Capital Structure and Investment Banking products.Proven track record of prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships.Professional proven sales skills and experience, including planning, execution and follow up of client meetings.Outstanding oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated leadership ability.Capable of organizing, facilitating, leading and negotiating with team of bank associates to solve client problems.Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, 63 & 24 (Must obtain SIE, series 7 & 63 license within 180 days of start date.
