PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

  • Responsible for overseeing the safe operation of a Geometry Inspection Vehicle throughout the CPKC network to meet all regulatory requirements
  • Manage the daily operations and maintenance of track geometry vehicle and equipment
  • Interpret and communicate Geometry Defects to ensure timely corrective actions
  • Provide technical support, monitor expenses, and ensure quality of TEC operation data
  • Conduct quality inspections, analyze data, and produce Geometry reports
  • Monitor track geometry defects trends, produce reports, and assist in maintenance planning
  • On-call availability outside of regular hours and workdays

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prior experience in Track Maintenance or relevant field, ideally with Supervisor Track Inspection experience
  • Minimum 5 years of railway experience in Engineering Services
  • Valid passport with cross-border travel ability, along with a Class 3 license with Air Endorsement
  • Proficiency in Data analysis and experience with Geometry Brush Charts
  • Ability to communicate in French/English (Bi-lingual)
