Evernorth is seeking a dynamic, strategic, results-driven senior marketer advisor to join our Specialty business marketing team to drive market awareness and growth for our business at the category and enterprise level. This individual will elevate our Specialty offerings and capabilities, including but not limited to Accredo specialty pharmacy and specialty benefit management capabilities run by Express Scripts by Evernorth and Evicore by Evernorth.

The role requires strong business-to-business (B2B) marketing strategy and development experience to active enterprise level value propositions and messaging across key audience segments. The ideal candidate will exhibit a proven ability to develop a comprehensive messaging and marketing framework to connect enterprise initiatives to marketing goals, with specific experience working cross-functionally to enable business teams to deliver growth. To succeed in this role, the candidate must possess strong ability to navigate change in a complex matrixed environment, be comfortable challenging the status quo, and translate business objectives into sound marketing strategies and plans informed by stakeholder insights.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a strong understanding of audience targets unique challenges and opportunities to position Specialty offerings to address problems to solve.
  • Build business-to-business category level marketing campaigns and programs that drive growth for Evernorth Specialty and increase understanding of Specialty differentiators.
  • Translate value propositions into compelling content to entice and engage audience segments.
  • Plan and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, through strategic positioning, market facing messaging, client-facing sales enablement tools and other B2B marketing communications tactics.
  • Identify, develop and execute B2C (via B2B2C or DTC) marketing strategies and messaging to support successful patient engagement and utilization.
  • Mobilize and direct expertise across marketing centers of excellence and orchestrate end to end marketing plans to drive growth, adoption, retention, and optimal audience experiences – across all stages of lifecycle.
  • Build effective launch plans and strong value proposition articulation and tools to enable ability to successful at driving Specialty growth and identifying relevant connections across Evernorth capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD INCLUDE

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8-10+ years of marketing and business strategy experience
  • Strong modern marketer: ability to understand and grasp marketing strategy and approach, leverage data and insights to inform strategy and recommended approach, link business need to action, understand how to leverage digital tactics/channels to execute marketing strategy.
  • Health care industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment across multiple functions and in support of diverse buyers and geographies.
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver, who exercises good judgment in resolving difficult situations, prioritizes and can balance needs with enterprise objectives
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment, and juggle multiple, sometimes competing, priorities and requirements
  • Experience executing strategy within timeline, budget and quality standards
