Analyzes and interprets relevant supply planning policy to ensure established objectives are met. Plans, develops, implements, and manages effective and affordable product supply support strategies throughout the life cycle for weapons, materiel, or information systems, as addressed in applicable policy/regulatory guidance. Integrates all known planning assumptions into the supply plan for secondary items. Reviews Material Requirements Planning (MRP) inputs and coordinates with the responsible authoritative source of these inputs. Evaluates target stock and safety levels produced by statistical models by weighing priorities established by Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) and Command senior leaders. Communicates supply health status and risks to weapons systems teams and program stakeholders to incorporate all known planning assumptions into the supply plan. Uses Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to validate MRP inputs, generate supply recommendations, and apply necessary MRP adjustments. Supports the weapon system manager in the development and document the supply support strategy, in applicable documentation, IAW policy and regulatory guidance.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time. This position requires incumbent to meet all requirements for Data Analytics level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02).
Specialized Experience: 1) Performing supply chain planning within the Logistics Modernization Program Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or a Systems Applications and Products (SAP) program. 2) Experience interpreting policy and/or guidance to address supply chain discrepancies and take appropriate action. 3) Experience with budget planning processes, procedures, policies, and/or regulations.
The Control Point for this position is equivalent to GS-13 step 5 at $133,692 including locality at the rate of 33.26%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position or if the incumbent's salary currently exceeds the GS-13 step 05 level the incumbent' s salary will be put on a salary control point at the incumbents existing salary.
