Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree minimum, Bachelor's degree a plus.

Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years hospital experience (Medical Diagnostics)

Computer Skills: EPIC, Office 365, etc.

Other Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy & strong emotional intelligence, resilience, time management, and organizational skills.

Description:

-Responsible for coordinating complex inter-departmental schedule management in collaboration with key team members to solve challenging scheduling requirements. This may include but not limited to decision tree utilization, work queue management, patient waitlist management, text appt reminder verification, updates family with NPO instructions if appointment time changes, ACD line, voicemail, etc.

-Coordinates medical imaging procedures with internal and external providers.

-Responsible for coordinating, with minimal oversight, cleared high-risk implanted-device medical imaging procedures based on the patients' needs with other services, ensuring that certain procedures and protocols are being met. This includes tagging High-Risk implants for patient MR safety clearance from the MR Technologist.

-Evaluating urgent/stat requests from providers and using good judgement to prioritize pressing matters when time is limited while communicating with those of lesser urgency with the MR leadership team.

-Collaboration with PSR representative for escalation of patient exam that requires prioritization.

-Facilitates research appointment requests to ensure the patient is scheduled within the appropriate study window.

-Conducts exam-mapping verification of the ordered exam on the appropriate scanners based on software and protocol needs.

-Answers multiple divisional phone calls; responding to customer requests including, and not limited to cross departmental appointment scheduling, screening, routing calls and registration.

-Trouble shoots and helps facilitate optimization of scanner utilization for all MR locations in conjunction with MR leadership team.

-Collaborates with MR facility teams on rescheduling patients to other locations due to medical conditions.

-Replenishment and documentation of patient relations vouchers utilization for imaging needs.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM (ON SITE)
