Position Summary:

This field sales position requires a highly effective and motivated sales manager to fill the role of AI Sales Manager. The individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities with both new and existing customers, introducing new products, managing distribution channels, and achieving predetermined sales targets within their region. The position involves extensive travel (75%) and focuses on driving results with Arlon Innovations' major distribution partners and mass market end user accounts across all Arlon Innovation products. The AI Sales Manager will play a critical role in executing the sales action plan tailored to their assigned region.

Responsibilities:

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Represent Arlon Innovations brand and boost sales within the territory
  • Generate new business opportunities and meet targeted sales objectives
  • Cultivate leads for key products and new product launches
  • Travel extensively across the territory to engage with key accounts and potential leads
  • Participate in trade shows and events to support sales growth and brand enhancement
  • Provide product and applications training to End Users
  • Identify key direct accounts and collaborate with the Arlon team to create sales plans

DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT

  • Enhance and expand current channel revenue
  • Develop and execute a regional business plan to increase market share aligning with marketing objectives
  • Drive sales, product, and service strategy in coordination with regional distribution
  • Offer support to all locations within the region and establish objectives for regional distributors and end user accounts
  • Train distribution sales staff and engage in joint sales calls with distributors
  • Forge relationships with End User accounts to stimulate distributor engagement
  • Discover new accounts or distributors to enhance market share
  • Provide recommendations to distributors to foster growth and expansion

SALES PLANNING & ADMINISTRATION

  • Record sales activities in Hubspot
  • Independently manage accounts and opportunities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and coordinate with Arlon personnel to meet expectations
  • Offer market feedback for necessary Arlon capabilities/resources
  • Assist in developing Strategy Deployment and Action Plans to achieve goals
  • Suggest pricing strategies by market and by distributor to Product Managers
  • Deliver Monthly Reports based on Strategy Deployment
  • Communicate opportunities and travel plans to supervisors
  • Engage technical resources and propose new product developments
  • Develop and submit T&E expense budgets & reports to support regional management activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or a minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) combined with relevant experience
  • Three (3) to eight (8) years of recent experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, CRM, and web research
  • Willingness to travel as required, with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
