Mercer's Global Workforce Strategy & Analytics practice is at the forefront of rapid advances in the fields of people analytics, strategic workforce planning, and diversity, equity & inclusion. Using approaches from data science, labor economics, statistics, and I/O psychology, we help our clients unlock critical insights about their people and build evidence-based workforce strategies. Our team has been exploring relationships in workforce data for more than 25 years and continues to help organizations solve their most challenging human resource questions through statistical analyses.

Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position:


Leader, Global Workforce Strategy & Analytics Innovation Lab

  • As the leader of our newly formed innovation lab, you will direct talented consultants to develop new commercial offerings to bring to market, including new problem-solving frameworks, technologies, and tools

We will count on you to:

  • Lead the Global Workforce Strategy & Analytics Innovation Lab, collaborating with consultants to solve problems for our clients, including: structuring, merging, cleaning, and analyzing data; performing advanced statistical analyses; visualizing data in ways that tell a compelling story; contributing to client presentations and generating recommendations for clients to implement; and helping create and improve analytical tools
  • Lead the design of new tools and protocols that can be leveraged on current and future projects

What you need to have:

  • Advanced degree in economics, statistics, I/O psychology, or a related quantitative field
  • A proven track record of leading large data-science or analytics organizations
  • Experience innovating in the data-science space, developing new offerings, and creating go-to-market strategies
  • Demonstrable success managing clients and other stakeholders and working in a highly matrixed environment
  • Exceptional data science background and comfort with cloud-based data-science technologies
