Duties

Ensure that accurate Army controlled programs data is provided and presented to the commands as guidance in the Master Force, which is the Army's authoritative document for units. Ensure the authorizations contained in the Master Force are supportable at the AMSCO/MDEP level of detail for the Army. Develop and execute the strategy for gathering and analyzing data to drive meaningful results for the mission. Investigate data trends and anomalies from a vast set of data. Evaluate work processes within the division and makes recommendations for improvement. Maintain liaison with assigned area as the HQDA staff action officer responsible for overseeing force structure/manpower planning and programming and resolving force structure issues.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. GS- 14 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing force management data, and providing recommendations to senior leaders; utilizing automated systems to perform data analysis on force structure data; and providing guidance on force structure initiatives within an organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
