Job Description

The successful candidate will be accountable for the formal planning and execution of all tactical levels of Supply Chain processes in the SEMI Silicone segment material planning.


In short term, this role will complete resource requirements at executional work process, and work with material planning to secure and manage the requirements working closely with other supply chain team members and major suppliers as well as internal stakeholders.

In Mid-Long term, the Master Scheduler focuses on improvements within end to end Supply Chain processes, leveraging best practices in Silicones Supply Chain especially in Midland, Michigan.


This role will also contribute root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and strategic planning to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and resilience of our supply chain processes.

Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Create, validate and maintain a valid purchase plan based upon the demand plan and supplier capacity
Communicate with commercial and demand functions to ensure the demand plans whenever placing purchase orders to major supplier
Providing most up to date purchase forecast to supplier

Deep understanding on the constraint of suppliers and having capability to bridge the constraint into supply plan to meet the demand plan and support business objectives.

Having agility to respond on the changes in demand and supply
Schedule and manage the execution of material deliveries against existing contracts or purchase orders.​
Lead resolution of short-term supply/demand imbalances for contractual products as well as manufactured products
Execute the plans for non-productive raw materials for disposition. Manage health of raw materials, tolled products, purchased semi-finished and packaging materials.​
Participates in daily/weekly planning meetings and represents material plans as appropriate​
Communicates with manufacturing, plant technical, purchasing, and master/asset scheduling personnel regarding supply problems and their resolutions​

Maintain accurate raw material and supplier master data including planning parameters such as order quantities or lot sizes, lead times and safety stocks.


Identify inaccurate inventory records and initiate actions to address.
Lead US Supply Chain Silicones organizations

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
5 years of experience in Supply Chain experience is preferred
Familiar with SAP and/or OMP.
APICs CPIM certification preferred
Proven track record in project management and process improvement
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office – especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsible, positive working attitude and self-motivative, being able to work under pressure
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Customer-focused and market-responsive awareness
