The Java Enterprise Account Executive will sell Java SE Subscriptions across a highly diverse and expansive geography within North America. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of at least 5 years of software sales. Demonstrate the ability to articulate the Java value proposition including the licensing model, pricing, features and overall direction of the Java roadmap, to your customers. Understanding of Java business drivers and how to position Java's competitive advantage. Be intellectually curious and have a passion for sales, as well as being able to work with customers to develop their Java business strategy.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • 80%+ of weekly time spent prospecting for net new business
  • Regularly forecast, manage and close Java SE Subscription deals
  • Identify, apply, and collaborate with key internal partners in an assigned account territory (principal solution consultants, business development consultants, management, and peers)
  • Identify and maneuver across key customers within your territory
  • Document territory plan including target companies, existing users, marketing plans, etc.
  • Ability to quickly develop, implement, and routinely modify a 30, 60, 90-day territory plan
  • Ability to build and present a quarterly business review to management
  • Understanding of how to effectively move a deal through the complete lifecycle
  • Operate as part of a sophisticated Matrix and collaborative culture to deliver results

Key Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of success within a direct software/IT sales role - experience closing deals
  • BS or BA degree or applicable experience preferred
  • Ability to lead complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Self-starter that has excellent communication, negotiating, closing skills with customers
  • Ambitious, strong organizational skills, and collaborative mindset
  • Strong prospecting skills/experience
  • Experience working with C-Suite
  • Successful in consistently achieving/exceeding quota

US: Hiring Range: from $33.46 to $54.13 per hour; from $69,600 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
