Offering up to $5,000 Sign-on Bonus

Shift Schedule: Full-Time, (40hrs. Mon-Fri) covering both Days and Evenings

Work Venue: University of Miami Hospitals & Clinics - Lennar - Perioperative Services

Key Job Functions

  • Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as baths, shampoos, and shaves.
  • Support in feeding, ambulating, positioning, and providing necessary personal care to patients.
  • Administer various medical procedures including dressings, baths, and specimen collection.
  • Attend to patient requests promptly and maintain a safe environment.
  • Assist in monitoring vital signs and providing physical support to patients.
  • Follow protocols and policies to ensure patient well-being and facility security.

Key Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Certification and Licensing: Certified Nursing Assistant credential

Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

Skills, Knowledge, and Attitudes:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively under pressure and handle confidential information.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required and uphold the organization's values.
  • Aptitude for both independent and collaborative work.

Department-Specific Details

CNA Responsibilities

  • Observe and report patient conditions and needs.
  • Conduct vital sign assessments and assist in medical procedures.
  • Ensure safe operation of equipment and respond to emergencies promptly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams and maintain patient care standards.
  • Assist in patient preparation and post-procedure care.

Clerical Tasks

  • Handle both clinical and administrative tasks within the unit.
  • Perform secretarial duties including faxing, copying, and answering calls.
  • Maintain professionalism in both clinical and clerical settings.
