Job DescriptionVisa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Staff Data Engineer (multiple openings) in Atlanta, GA to
Responsible for the architecture, design, development and implementation of software applications.
Execute data engineering projects working across multiple teams in high visibility roles.
Work with large complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements.
Integrate datasets with data/metadata tools in the architecture.
Complete data analytics projects involving data modeling and architecture.
Perform database administration for data virtualization platform.
Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices and development methodologies.
Collaborate with product management / product owners to define user experience, demos and training.

Contribute to project planning discussions, provide status updates for development progress and be a critical resource for issue resolution.

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of developers that will manage large scale open source data platforms, develop tools, and fix bugs and issues that arise.

Position reports to the Employer's Atlanta, Georgia office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
QualificationsBasic

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field and 5 years of experience in a computer-related occupation. Actimize AIS Objects.
Analytics Intelligence Server (AIS) and AIS Modeler, RCM (Risk Case Manager) and RCM Designer, and Actone.

Anti-money laundering and fraud solutions such as CDD, IFM, and/or SAM.Developing the solution architecture, implementation, installations, configuration, and testing of the product for Risk and Compliance Solutions for financial institutions.

Atlanta, GAThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.

Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

This position does not require travel

Mental/Physical Requirements:
This position will be performed in an office setting.

The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

APPLICANTS ONLY:


The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $142,002.00 USD to $196,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
