Job Description:


Accountable for the build out of cloud related Data Scanning, Data Classification & Data quality platforms, implementing cloud security and risk controls while enable platforms through application programming interfaces (APIs), re-usable end points or through self-service tools across lines of business and corporate functions.

This Role is critical for all integrations as part of Enterprise data management and Enterprise Data Catalog.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job.

Specific activities may change from time to time.
1.
Accountable for executing the Data and Analytics cloud strategy.
2.

Partnering with the CTO, CISO and other 2nd line of defense teams to implement proper security and risk related controls and frameworks across the Data & Analytics cloud environment.

3.
Implement data scanning and classification, data quality Tools and applications (On-Premise and In the cloud).
4.

Partner with business unit teams to drive and execute innovation, AI / ML initiatives and generative AI foundational capabilities to transform business processes on the cloud.

5.

Build out a team based upon agile delivery to support sustainable data operations, business resiliency, execution of business unit priorities.

Enable CIDC re-usable pipelines to be leveraged across the Data & Analytics teams.
6.

Partner with the business unit organization to implement the Truist enterprise operating model for cloud, while bringing best in class industry practices to improve people, process and technology.

7.

Accountable to build out and manage the data team including the data engineers and cloud engineers for the cloud platforms.

8.
Staying up to speed on emerging industry and technologies while bringing those new practices to Truist.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in either computer science, analytics, data engineering, finance or equivalent degree 2.
At least 5 years of experience driving enterprise data strategy, data execution, data engineering or software delivery3.
Expert problem solving skills and being able to define detailed strategies 4.
Experience in financial services or payments industry5.
Experience in meeting regulatory obligations and operating in a highly regulatory environment on the cloud6.
Experience in building a high performing teamPreferred

Qualifications:

1.
8 years of experience driving Enterprise Platforms and engineering, Data engineering or software delivery2.
Extensive experience with cloud platform engineering managing SaaS and VPC hosted related to Data Management (Ataccama, PKWare, etc)3.
Experience in data architecture, solution architecture and / or designing enterprise business processes 4.
Skills demonstrated in data engineering, computer engineering, data transformation (ETL), digital transformation and regulatory program delivery5.
Expert in solution designs based upon business requirements6.
Experience in building financial services technology cloud strategies.
