Sales Intern- ACH Seeds

We're hiring a Sales Intern to support the Great Lakes Regional manager in the promotion of ACH Seeds / Crystal Brand Sugarbeet Seed in the Michigan Sugar growing market

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attend grower meetings, plot tours and other industry events.
  • Assist with field sign placement and tracking.
  • Assist in presentation development and tour planning.
  • Assist in facilitating ACH Seed Strip Trial Program – planting, stand counts, soil sampling, tissue sampling, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Assist with other industry-led trials – stand counts, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Work with Sales managers and IT to develop customer location mapping.
  • Work with Sales manager and sales agents to update customer list.
Qualifications:
  • Second- or third-year undergraduate student in the Michigan beet growing area majoring in an agricultural discipline.
  • Knowledge of agriculture and farming a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Skilled in use of computer hardware and software including all Microsoft Office programs and comfortable with social media.
  • Some travel to the various sugarbeet production areas within the United States is possible.
