Responsibilities

  • Operating Forklifts: Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within the warehouse or worksite.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves using forklifts and other equipment, ensuring proper handling and stacking to prevent damage.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by accurately recording materials handled and reporting any discrepancies or shortages.
  • Picking and Packing: Support warehouse operations by picking and packing orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in fulfilling customer or production demands.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents, injuries, and equipment damage. Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including clearing aisles, disposing of debris, and ensuring materials are stored in designated areas.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks, prioritize work, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of materials and products handled to ensure they meet quality standards before transport or storage.
