Work schedule: Monday through Saturday with varying day shift hours.
The primary responsibility of the Logistics Operations Associate (LOA) includes the loading, unloading, inspection, and inventory management of tires transported via various vehicles (trailer trucks, box trucks, delivery vans). This role involves selecting, packing, counting, weighing, labeling, and organizing tires according to customer orders and designated staging areas using a bin locator system. Adherence to TireHub's safety protocols is essential during the loading, unloading, and stacking processes.

This position reports directly to the Assistant Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, inspect, and record tires to and from transport vehicles.
- Select, pack, count, label, and organize customer orders, placing tires in designated areas as per the bin locator system.
- Operate equipment such as order pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain related documentation.
- Follow safety guidelines for the proper handling of tires during unloading, loading, and stacking.
- Engage in cycle counting and assist with annual inventory processes.
- Participate in ongoing training through various learning modules as assigned.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend effectively.
- Capable of lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving tires (up to 50 lbs. or more) following safety protocols.
- Efficiently unload and organize received tires in the warehouse.
- Accurately load outbound tires into delivery vehicles.
- Ability to work at heights up to 35 feet while secured.
- Must be able to operate a stand-up order picker/forklift for up to 8 hours daily.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with computer-based systems, including iPads.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must maintain TireHub-sponsored forklift certification.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- At least one year of general work experience.
Working Environment:
- Physical demands include lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving tires (up to 50 lbs. or more) while adhering to safety procedures.
- May involve handling hazardous materials and wearing protective equipment.
- Specific vision requirements may include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
- Work settings may vary from non-climate-controlled warehouses to customer locations.
- Extended hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required based on operational needs.
- Driving may be necessary during nighttime or adverse weather conditions.
