Position Overview
- In partnership with your cross functional teams, develop, implement, and execute marketing strategies for your lines of business that support and drive growth and expansion. Partner with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product development, category management, and strategic sales on building insights and data for innovation through Go-to-market and build strategies and align on ways to successfully bring to different markets on a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Identify market and consumer opportunities to inform product development and expand global roadmap for Coolers and Drinkware
- Oversee daily and weekly reporting of category performance to optimize messaging, creative, and strategies to deliver on category goals
- Work with cross functional global teams to bring new products to market, support localization of global plans, and ensure seamless integration in market inclusive of product claims and trademarks
- Enroll your teams and be the driving voice to align on common goals or to quickly mitigate and problem solve
- Partner with sales organization on sell in strategy, content, and sell through performance
- Immerse yourself in the consumer and competitive intelligence to communicate competitive advantage and what it takes to win in the market
- Partner with international teams on global launches, roadmaps and strategies that align with the US
Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
- Comfortable working at a fast pace, iterative, and progress vs. perfection mindset
- Leading and building global teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to make effective presentations to all levels of management
- Ability to synthesize complex product features into compelling and desirable consumer benefits
- Broad spectrum of marketing skills, defining strategies, building plans, driving product launches, and front-end innovation management
- Ability to connect the dots and think at a holistic and strategic level across the business that guide you in making recommendations.
- Influencing, conflict resolution, and creative problem solving.
- Comfortable mining and analyzing data and drawing conclusions
- Project management and ability to manage several projects in parallel, navigating a complex cross-functional matrix
- Biased toward action, roll up your sleeves and get it done together
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of prior Marketing experience required, preferably with direct responsibility for Brand strategy, messaging, positioning, and comms strategy and execution
- Experience in Cooler or Drinkware space preferred, but not required
- Experience in consumables/CPG space preferred, but not required
- Experience in managing, building, and growing teams
- Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns
- Experience in creative strategy development, advertising and launching new products
- Experience in launching products globally across several different markets
- MBA preferred
