We are looking for a Site Manager who will direct Site Operations at our location in Maricopa, Arizona. Key emphasis will be placed on achieving daily, weekly, and yearly production and efficiency Supply Chain goals. This position is also accountable for budgeting and managing the budget for the site. As a Site Manager - US Cotton, You Create Chemistry By...
  • Leading, guiding, and directing personnel to achieve daily and annual Supply Chain goals.
  • Assisting in preparing the annual operational plan (AOP) budget for the site, covering the plant and warehouse.
  • Being responsible for cost control of the site operations and coordinating the processing plan to achieve maximum output.
  • Managing and monitoring inventory of finished bag products, bulk seed, chemicals, packaging materials, and carryover seed to minimize write-offs.
  • Managing contracts on culls, lint, bulk seed, discard seed, and waste products.
  • Being responsible for annual employee evaluations and performance management of the warehouse manager and plant manager.
  • Recommending and implementing annual capital projects that cover the plant, warehouse, and overall site.
  • Developing long-term plans for site improvements and maintenance.

If you...
  • Hold a Bachelors degree required. A bachelors degree in Agronomy, Seed Science, Plant Science, Agricultural Economics or a related discipline, a plus
  • Possess 8 or more years of manufacturing experience
  • Have previous experience in cotton production/research, cotton ginning, seed production, quality assurance, or seed conditioning plant, a plus
  • Possess knowledge of safety protocols and experience in promoting a safety culture.
  • Are analytical and have problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and optimize processes.
  • Have organizational, leadership, and managerial skills
  • Have the ability to travel up to 15% domestically
