Perry Ellis International is hiring an Assistant Buyer for our Direct-to-Consumer division. This position will be responsible for supporting the buying team in the day-to-day management of the
buying office. It will require cross-functional partnership with merchandising, planning, marketing, and e-commerce and store management.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage day-to-day operations of the buying office.
Recap and analyze selling by style, department, product type, and channel.
Ensure that all products are set up properly in the system and online, including product uploads.
Maintain accuracy of all product information, including attributes and prices.
Create, enter, and manage all purchase orders, transfers, and special projects.
Track and maintain delivery information.
Manage samples and work with the studio to ensure all items are photographed for the site.
Assist in prepping photoshoots and asset requests.
Create and deliver product knowledge documents.
Create and disseminate promotion information and pricing information to the stores.
Maintain operation calendar for the stores.
Create ad hoc reports.
Allocate products as needed.

SKILLS:
Excellent analytical & organizational skills.
Possess an inclination toward data and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to organize, manage time, and multi-task.
Self-starter, takes initiative.
Proficient Excel & Google Applications skills preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Math, Business, Finance, Merchandising, or related fields.
Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the fashion or retail industry.
