Primary Purpose: The Assistant Design Manager, Architecture will assist in the development and completion of store projects in our domestic market for all brands. The role will be based in our corporate office in New York City, with 3 days (Tuesday-Thursday) in office and 2 days working remotely.

  • Manage domestic store projects for all brands, including feasibilities, renovations, expansions, and enhancement projects, from initial concept to completion.
  • Review projects with senior design managers, as well as cross-functional teams (Visual Merchandising, Store Operations, Construction, etc.) for alignment.
  • Assist in the management of the global project schedule and team initiatives.
  • Update projects as needed to meet business needs and budget constraints.
  • Review construction and millwork drawings for accurate information, materials, and sizing.

  • Bachelor's Degree (preference for Architecture or Interior Design related majors)
  • Relevant experience in a retail architectural/design position or internship is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in reviewing construction sets, millwork drawings, and material samples as a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to quickly grasp new software.
  • Ability to read and present information from architectural plans, sections, and diagrams.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as cross functionally with other business groups.
  • Must be initiative-taking, highly productive, and have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a highly organized, self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities at once.
