Why we're hiring:
More and more people are turning to No-Code to build the software they need. Since our launch in 2021, we have helped over 50,000 users build their backend using Xano. To date (Dec 2023), all our growth has been organic/word-of-mouth, and we've been fortunate that our growth has been steady. As we look at our goals in the next 24 months, we need an individual who can develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for the organization.
Who we're looking for:
We're looking for a data-driven Content marketer who is continuously improving and refining strategy based on results and key inputs across the organization. This individual has a proven track record in building and leading content strategies across various products, industries, and channels. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement effective GTM strategies, ensuring the success of product launches, marketing campaigns, and partner expansion initiatives. The Senior Content Marketer will also work closely with the broader marketing team to establish Xano as a thought leader in the No-Code development space.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop an intimate knowledge for who our customers are for Product Positioning: Spend time with customers so that you can truly understand their businesses, jobs to be done, software development stack, and workflows. Empathize with the problems they experience and what motivates them.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create a content roadmap and content calendar: Use your skills and prior experience to design a full content strategy across the Xano website, blog, and social channels for blogs, eBooks, case studies, white papers, webinars, PR/AR, syndicated content, and more.
- Research, outline, write, and edit content: Create content briefs for internal stakeholders. Create and review long-form and short-form content including webpages, blog posts, case studies, and more. Help establish and apply the Xano voice and tone across all work; ability to guide other writers/project owners on the voice and tone.
- Test & iterate content: Collaborate with growth and community teams to evaluate KPIs and continue to evolve content.
- Establish and maintain brand voice: Help establish and apply the Xano voice and tone across all work; ability to guide other writers/project owners on the voice and tone. Ensure consistency of the brand and apply the highest quality of copywriting across all projects
Your Competencies:
- Has experience building content strategies across personas for a technical product: Experience creating content strategies for SMB and enterprise personas, ideally in the SaaS space
- Demonstrated ability to research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content: Hands-on expertise in developing content solutions across a variety of mediums including digital, advertising, websites, events, webinars, conferences, customer references, and case studies.
- A natural storyteller, and effective at breaking down complex topics with analogies, and stories: Ability to effectively explain technical concepts in easily understood language
- Detail and results-oriented: Experience testing unique selling points across a variety of channels/mediums.
- Have a customer-first mentality: Have a solid understanding of how to empathize with the customer, understand their pain, and sell them Xano as a solution if it can truly help them.
- Enthusiastic and Team-oriented: Exhibits passion and excitement over work. Has a can-do attitude. Also has the ability to work with a small team and work collaboratively to come up with thoughtful solutions.
- High standards: Expects personal performance and team performance to be nothing short of the best.
- Flexible and adaptable: Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Copes effectively with complexity and change.
- (PLUS) Has Basic knowledge of the No-Code industry: We are the leading No-Code Backend platform that connects to a wide variety of No-Code Front-ends. Having a basic understanding of the landscape would be preferred.
This role requires the use of your own laptop/computer.
