This role will lead the North America payroll and time and attendance systems and process. Success in this role involves an ability to be agile and nimble to drive continuous process improvement to enhance our employee experience with compliance, security and accurate processing whiledelivering on operational goals and payroll transformation. The Manager will oversee our North America payroll and Time & Attendance functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and time and attendance (Workforce) for all locations in the United States and Canada (~2000 employees)
  • Coordinate within the enterprise HR, Benefits,,Finance and legal teams to achieve the processing of payroll within all regulatory, labor and tax guidelines
  • Oversee and approve payrolls, ensuring all processes are followed with accuracy
  • Effectively lead and grow a strong, motivated team
  • Develop payroll policies and best practices and contribute towards efforts to standardize payroll procedures and continuously improve services
  • Create payroll reports, data files, and ad hoc analyses needed to support business needs
  • Manage external relationships with 3rd party vendors
  • Provide resources and tools for end users
  • Support and provide direction on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), (Workforce), ADP and other payroll process system's setup, maintenance, upgrades and enhancements
  • Act as the lead point of contact for North America payroll related item
  • Oversee preparation and filing of quarterly/annual payroll tax forms and reconciliations

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in applicable field
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in payroll and/or time & attendance
  • Previous people leadership experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills including presentations
  • CPP strongly preferred
  • ECP (Employee Central Payroll) experience preferred
