What you will do:
- Engage in structured work and study sessions while gaining hands on experience in engineering and manufacturing environments.
- Utilize Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems to perform detailed drafting and design tasks for new and existing machinery.
- Contribute to project work by participating in the design, fabrication, assembly, and testing of prototype or production parts and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians on software development, testing, and documentation efforts.
- Conduct engineering calculations, write test reports, assemble technical manuals, and provide training and support to manufacturing facilities.
- Travel to vendor sites and production facilities to assist in evaluating parts, verifying equipment operations, and installing machinery.
What you will need:
- Requires one of the following:
- Freshman, Sophomore or Junior status at an accredited college or university and working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR
- Graduating from High School in 2024 with the intent to attend University and study an Engineering discipline
- Must be able to work multiple co op rotations
- An organized, self motivated, self disciplined and teamwork oriented individual with a good work ethic
- Good verbal and strong written communication skills
- Understanding and application of geometry, algebra, trigonometry, statistics, and basic engineering principals
- Ability to recognize issues and develop possible solutions to non routine problems
