Spherion Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a talented and motivated individual for a Press Operations team Lead Printing Press Operator.

- 5:00 am-5:15pm, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - First shift
- Overtime paid after 40 hours a week; typical OT available is at least one shift per month

Responsibilities:
- Efficient set and operation on flexographic press, meeting specs in quality, safety, material and waste
- Team player, ensuring press is stocked with materials that enable focus on the art of producing labels
- Leadership in Lean Manufacturing, KAIZEN, ISO quality, innovation, and current technology
- Support and contribute to an innovative culture, to create and develop new products for our customers

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 5:15 PM

- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems

Education:
High School

1-4 years

- Thinking through mechanical aspects of equipment operations and decision-making
- Effective time management on multiple long / short-term projects, meeting all related deadlines
- Good interpersonal, collaborative, relationship skills to work with diverse group of people and personalities
- High regard to customer service, thorough prompt responses to inquiries both internal and external to the organization
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of people inside and outside the organization
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience Flexographic Printer 1.5 /2 yrs - cold foils, hot stamp dies, rotary screens, tactile varnishes
