Day - 08 Hour (United States of America)

Lead back-end development that drives Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementation and produces Java libraries, OSGi services, etc
Build websites and applications using AEM
Design and build back-end modules and workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, OAK)
Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management such as search result accuracy, dynamic content linking, image scaling, and personalization
Work in agile, rapid development, and prototyping environments
Translate business requirements into AEM-specific implementation specifications

A Brief Overview
The Lead Web Technologist is responsible for building or testing the front-end / back-end / mobile interface for web technologies at Stanford Health Care. This position will collaborate on design issues with a diverse group of product managers, designers, engineers, and infrastructure teams to build and deliver robust front and back-end solutions that showcase the SHC's brand while providing a high-quality experience for users. This position should have a complete understand of web development.

What you will do

  • Provide strategic direction on mid to long term technology development in line with SHC's enterprise goals on Performance, Privacy, Security, Availability, Maintainability and User Experience.
  • Collaborate with business partners, vendors and developers in defining strategic and tactical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT service quality through automation and reduction of process defects.
  • Implement inhouse proof of concept, facilitate technical vendor evaluations and documentation.
  • Share knowledge with technical team and senior management of emerging technology and trends, their implications, challenges and opportunities.
  • Partner with MyHealth, SHC Mobile, UX Design and Internal Web teams.
  • Hands on technical role; contributes and helps set standards for all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, automation and QA.
  • Develops functional prototypes from wireframes and mockups and create proper documentation.
  • Develops websites, performs unit testing, implementation, and production application support.
  • Participates in troubleshooting problems related to user interaction, webpage performance & mobile web optimization.
  • Collaborates with business, functional, technology system and operational owner engineers to refine and improve the user experience.
  • Follows industry trends regarding web technologies and techniques.

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.

Experience Qualifications

  • Eight (8) to Ten (10) years of web technologies experience; experience in a healthcare IT environment preferable.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Healthcare background, experience and performance that promotes a high level of credibility with clinical professionals.
  • Knowledge of interworking and experience developing and configuring EMR systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of informational technology disciplines; eg, network operations, databases, software applications and interfaces, production operations, quality assurance and systems management.
  • Knowledge of project management process and systems.
  • Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation and interpersonal skills focused on motivation and positive attitude. Highly self-motivated, directed and change oriented. Very strong customer orientation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong programming knowledge.
  • Ability to accurately communicate complex technical abstractions.
  • Ability to influence peers and/or management and a champion of best practices that will encourage and drive adoption.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $ $93.34 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
