Assistant/Associate Professor in Computer Science

The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track Associate Professor position and three tenure-track Assistant Professor Positions in Computer Science (CS) starting in fall 2024.
For three of the positions (including the Associate Professor position), preference will be given to those with demonstrated expertise in Artificial Intelligence.
Candidates are expected to have a record of high-quality scholarship and should be able to demonstrate the potential for excellence in both research and teaching.
Job Requirements:
Applicants must hold a doctorate in CS or a closely related field by the time they are hired, and demonstrate excellence in both research and teaching.
All candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, have the ability to establish an active research program, and be motivated to support the student-oriented culture of the department and UTEP's Access to Excellent Higher Education mission.
