EXAMINATION:
The examination process will include the following: application review and evaluation to establish a rating to reflect Qualified or Not Qualified. Purpose of Classification:
Performs process duties related to managing cases of clients in Superior Court Accountability Court including managing cases through intake and triage, determining client eligibility for behavioral health services, and providing lead direction to assigned staff.
Essential Duties:
This job description indicates, in general, the nature and level of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act) expected of the incumbent. Provides lead direction to assigned staff, including establishing workloads, prioritizing work assignments, monitoring employee performance, interpreting policies and procedures, and resolving staff issues.
Provides case management and coordination of services, including progress reviews of each client.
Plans, coordinates, and/or supervises behavioral health services.
Assists in training staff members in community outreach, client/management relations, and other related program areas.
Adheres to the Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance Standards as appropriate.
Maintains contact with the appropriate community organizations and agencies.
Participates in the screening and interviewing of new staff members as required.

Physical Ability: Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors, sounds, odor, depth, and visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
