Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Perform executive protection for company leadership, both locally and internationally, with a balance of visibility and subtlety.
  • Take the lead in planning and executing trips, managing logistics, and creating security plans for various company events.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of emerging security threats using various monitoring tools.
  • Contribute to the establishment of standard operating procedures and protocols for all security activities.
  • Support the Security Intelligence team and other relevant departments as required.
  • Conduct regular threat assessments in collaboration with internal and external partners.

Compensation/Benefits Overview:

S&P Global has projected a base salary range of $100,379 to $150,000 USD for this role. The final salary will depend on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications. Additionally, the position is eligible for an annual incentive plan and other company benefits.

What We're Seeking:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience in executive protection roles.
  • Strong knowledge of security and risk landscapes.
  • Ability to interact professionally with top-level executives.
  • Valid HR218 certification for carrying a firearm in the U.S.
  • Previous or potential Federal Armed Security Officer (ASO) certification.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to make clear decisions under pressure.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Maintain high physical fitness standards.
  • Effective cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing situations.
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
  • Regular presence required at the New York office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years in law enforcement, military, or government.
  • Understanding of financial markets and corporate environments.
  • ASIS membership with PSP, CPP, or related training.
  • Familiarity with aviation and airport security.
  • Experience working internationally.
  • Proficiency in defensive driving techniques.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
