As the Director of Sales Operations, you will be responsible for managing daily operations to support achievement of Cabinetworks Group business growth targets. You will oversee all components that support success of the sales team, such as: processes, tools, training, presentations, content, and technology. You will work to improve the efficiency of the sales organization and collaborate with leadership to drive sales initiatives. This role will directly lead a large sales support team as well as functional leadership of standard processes and sales enablement efforts within the broader sales organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales operational excellence and effectiveness.
  • Provide the sales team with necessary solutions to sell effectively and support their respective dealers; Oversee processes, tools, training, presentations, content, and technology that support the sales process.
  • Analyze and evaluate current operational processes and data metrics;identify critical needs and areas to improve.
  • Ensure consistency and quality control of sales enablement components.
  • Provide strategic insight and direction into the national sales organizational structure, ensuring the sales team and associated roles are setup to support CWG go to market strategy.
  • Implement strategies to optimize and enhance operational support for National Dealer accounts, Retail, and Multi-family.
  • Lead InsideSales and Field Sales Support teams;Develop strategic plans to grow market share for assigned accounts.
  • Create vision and lead the sales training process for internal team and dealer partners.
  • Manage sales reporting and analysis to aid in forecasting and planning; develop and track key performance metrics, identify trends and insights to refine the operational model
  • Act as a liaison between the sales and marketing teams; collaborate to align strategies and activities.
  • Act as a liaison to commercial excellence strategy and support objectives from a sales function.
  • Participate in weekly Regional meetings, cross-functional teams or planning teams.
  • Establish and manage the team's expense budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or have equivalent industry experience. All combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Business operations experience, specifically in the area of project management and implementing process improvements.
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, sales,strategy, and/or marketing.
  • Ability to travel nationwide 30%. Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record is required at all times in this position.
  • Proven performance record of success within a sales enablement function representing technical, value-based products.
  • Strategic and analytical ability;proven success translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Innovative and growth mindset-passion for staying aware of trends,tools, and technology.
  • Extensive knowledge/experience of sales enablement technology (CRM systems), processes and best-practices
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence all levels within an organization.
  • Responsive, professional persona with a "can do" attitude; effective interpersonal and relationship building skills at multiple levels.
  • Strategic and critical thinking skills

  • Must be able to periodically lift up to 50 lbs.
