OnTrac is hiring a Regional Linehaul Coordinator

The Regional Linehaul Coordinator will coordinate line haul moves within the OnTrac network and operate within DOT guidelines and company standards.

Responsibilities of a Regional Linehaul Coordinator:

  • Monitor and adjust the line haul network on a nightly/daily basis to maximize on time performance.
  • Monitor and communicate needed adjustments with Contract Vendors to maximize on time performance
  • Communicates adjustments and their impacts on the network to operations
  • Daily communications with Linehaul Coordinators, hub and facility management responsible for line haul and dispatch
  • Work with IE, Ops, and Fleet coordinators to develop/maintain both mainline and satellite linehaul schedules to meet company service offerings
  • Work with line haul coordinators and fleet manager to develop contingency plans to recover from accidents, traffic delays, maintenance failures, natural disasters
  • Ensure compliance to Federal, state and local regulations and laws
  • Monitor and enforce hours of service requirements
  • Drive KPI metrics and results

What you need to be a Regional Linehaul Coordinator:

  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree strongly preferred.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, dispatching, transportation, engineering, business, project management or similar
  • Proficient computer skills in use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience with Network Optimization Software, Dispatch Management Software, Fleet Software and HVD sort systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • The ability to communicate and interface with many corporate and employee levels.
  • The ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • The ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
