We are looking for a Product Test Engineering Technician to join our organization In this role, you will assist with the development and production of mixed-signal and analog semiconductor integrated circuits, gather and summarize data, build test hardware, prepare product documentation, and assist with running devices through an automated test flow.

Shift times; 10am to 6:30pm OR 11am to 7:30pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
  • Soldering of PCB components down to 0201 and lead-less packaged devices - all soldering will be performed under a microscope
  • Enter and maintain an accurate inventory of parts, tooling, and bench equipment and reorder supplies as needed
  • Handle shipping and receiving of components and PCB orders
  • Work with in-house engineering staff to troubleshoot production test hardware
  • Act as point of contact with our overseas counterparts to receive and ship production hardware
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance and in-depth troubleshooting across multiple Teradyne test platforms, National Instruments STS testers, Accretech probers, temperature forcing systems, and automated IC handlers platforms
  • Cross-training opportunities across multiple automated test platforms are available with this position
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience with semiconductor automated test equipment
  • Ability to solder or demonstrate the ability to learn complicated soldering techniques
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience with lab/bench equipment, such as o-scopes and power supplies
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Troubleshooting to component level using PCB schematic and other bench equipment
  • Experience creating training documents such as PM procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and One Point Lessons
  • Experience with 3D modeling software
  • Knowledge of IC or board-level test and failure analysis
This is a fully on-site role and is not available for remote or hybrid remote work schedule.
