Position Summary: The Crew Records Assistant is responsible for assisting the Training Department and the Flight Operations Department in maintaining pilot records for FAA compliance.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Confirm flight training reservation with contract training provider for current and onboarding crewmembers.
  • Create training folders for new hire crewmembers and collect documentation to build FOS pilot profile.
  • Receive and review training records from contract training providers.
  • Communicate with contract training providers regarding training records, and/or corrections to training records.
  • Create training records for company training events.
  • Enter all training records (aircraft and company) into FOS and electronic training folder.
  • Remove non-current training records and build outgoing PRIA record documents.
  • Update FOS Crew Data and Crew Training items.
  • Conduct regular audits of training records to ensure compliance.
  • Manage the Known Crew Member Program and conduct regular audits.
  • Update and manage crewmembers profiles on vendor websites (ARGUS, Wyvern).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of 14CFR parts 91, 125 and 135 training program requirements
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision or direct assignment referencing the requirements of the organization.
  • Detail oriented with a desire for perfection.
  • A team player with the ability to work in cross functional/departmental teams.
Education & Work Experience:
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Experience with flight crew member training and/or scheduling preferred.
  • Experience dealing with internal and external customers preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment.
  • Communicate through verbal, written and electronic means.
  • Operate office equipment such as telephone, computer, printer, fax, postage meter, etc.
  • Move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis.
  • Access filing cabinets, drawers, and shelves of varying heights
Documentation Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US
