The University of Miami Health System, known as 'UHealth', Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, has an appealing opportunity available for a Clinical Research Coordinator 2. As a mid-level professional in clinical research, the Clinical Research Coordinator 2 plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and evaluating specific clinical research studies. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring research protocols, ensuring participant safety and protocol adherence, and facilitating information flow among team members.

  • Assists in participant recruitment and retention.
  • Performs study procedures and data collection.
  • Handles specimen processing and shipping.
  • Maintains study binders and records.
  • Distributes study drug materials.
  • Monitors and reports study events.
  • Implements protocol amendments.
  • Conducts study orientation and in-services.
  • Facilitates sponsor and team interactions.
  • Ensures cultural competency in participant interactions.
  • Adheres to regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintains necessary skills and training.
  • Complies with University policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Flexible work schedule.

  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
