BI WORLDWIDE is looking for a dynamic leader to build and manage a network of strategic partners specializing in complementary services. The Director will work on identifying complementary partners, developing partner relationships, securing new partnership deals, negotiating partner contracts, ensuring internal support across the organization, and cultivating ongoing partnerships.

The Director will report to the VP, Consulting Services and Strategic Partnerships, and will be the primary marketing and sales focal point with our strategic partners. The role will have significant visibility and is ultimately responsible for working directly with our strategic partners to create and implement on-going marketing and sales programs.

The Director will be a highly-motivated, strategy-oriented sales leader who is excited to grow and cultivate partnerships that are mutually beneficial. As a thought leader for our partners, the Director will bring BI WORLDWIDE current and potential value-adds to our partners in a contemplative and professional manner resulting in greater revenues and more strategic relationships.

This position has extensive partner and customer interaction, including presenting BIW technology and partnerships at customer sales presentations. Some travel to partner and customer locations, both domestic and international, is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Continue to evolve the overall BI WORLDWIDE partnership strategy.
  • Research and identify potential partners.
  • Secure and negotiate partnership deals.
  • Develop and maintain a network of partners that delivers increased revenue, improved services and competitive advantage.
  • Work with customers to explain and promote partnerships to build credibility and confidence in our technology solutions.
  • Build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all BI WORLDWIDE solutions.
  • Communicate and promote partnerships across the BI WORLDWIDE organization.
  • Manage technical resources focused on defining partner integrations and developing prototypes.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product development, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership initiatives.

Experience Required:

  • 7-10+ years of related technology sales experience in the B2B market. Work with technology partnerships/alliances preferred.
  • BS/BA in Business or technology-related field of study preferred.
  • Preferred residence in corporate headquarters in the Twin Cities.
  • Proven ability to sell complex technology solutions.
  • Extensive negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and communicate effectively with many different types of people.
