Job Summary

Administrative Assistant is responsible for the professional office support in the CPP Finishing/Resin operations unit.

How You Can Be the Impact

  • Manage change in a dynamic work environment with a composed, professional presence
  • Tactful management of on line calendars; prompt response to requestors while balancing business priorities
  • Responsive, professional telephone coverage for multiple people
  • Support meetings by organizing and making arrangements (start to finish)
  • Plan and manage travel in an environment of changing plans and priorities – Project based or special assignments such as organizing off site events, customer events, employee events, etc.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, FedEx; work with Manager(s) to develop a process for prompt response
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use
  • Development and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets, data input into business systems, data analysis, etc.
( Gensuite, eSHEM entry)

  • Creation of Word documents such as letters and forms
  • Enter and maintain POs as appropriate.
What Matters to SABIC

  • Associate Degree in Administrative Assistant, Office Assistant, Secretarial Science; a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5 years recent experience in an Administrative Assistant or Clerical Role.
