Job Description:

We are looking for a project coordinator who will be responsible for defining, analyzing and documenting project requirements, clearly communicating these to the development team, and conducting software quality assurance. The person in this role has experience with leading an effort and driving it through to completion in an Agile environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Production support activities involving the identification, troubleshooting and resolution of application issues and code defects
  • Conduct optimization, solving and debugging
  • Tune and optimize jobs for performance and throughput. Interact with data modelers and data base administrator on data architecture optimization for performance
  • Lead solving efforts for job issues related to pre-production and production
  • Understand and execute release management processes for changes to applications.
  • Handling incidents, service requests, publishing Knowledge article, problem management via ITIL.
  • Support ON CALL on rotation basis and trouble shoot and resolved system issues/P1/P2 issues
  • Ensure alignment to defined processes (like creating problem records, performing timely RCA's, creating knowledge articles, maintaining application documentation etc.)
  • Prepare performance dash boards & management reports
  • Ensure schedule consistency for release requests and notify partners in case of deviations
Qualifications:
  • Should have hands on experience in BigData Analytics and development.
  • Expertise with the tools in Hadoop Ecosystem including Pig, Hive, HDFS, MapReduce, Sqoop, Spark.
  • Excellent knowledge on Hadoop Ecosystems such as HDFS, Job Tracker, Task Tracker, Name Node, Data Node and Map Reduce programming paradigm
  • Experience in designing and developing applications in Spark using Scala to compare the performance of Spark with Hive and SQL/Oracle.
  • Solid experience in writing applications using python using different libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matpotlib etc.
  • Good Knowledge in Machine Learning algorithms using Python and its concepts as data - preprocessing, Regression, classification etc and appropriate model selection techniques.
  • Good experience in Object-Oriented Design, Analysis, Development, Testing and Maintenance.
  • Collaborated with the infrastructure, network, database, application and BI teams to ensure data quality and availability.
  • Should be good in communication and flexible to coordinate with client, onsite timing.
