The Department of Speech-Language Pathology is an integral part of the Jefferson College of Rehabilitation Sciences (JCRS) which also includes the departments of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Athletic Training. The programs within JCRS reflect the University's commitment to educate future healthcare professionals of the highest quality and ethical standards for contemporary practice in the global community. PhD or EdD in Speech Language Pathology or related field is preferred however applicants who are ABD are also encouraged to apply. Current ASHA Certification and eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist in Pennsylvania are required.
Expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred: aphasia, cognitive communication disorders, neurogenic speech disorders, or voice disorders. The successful candidate will possess a documented record of scholarship and excellence in teaching.
This position is a 12- month full-time appointment. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience.
